The Global Fleet & Trade project website has been restructured to organise its content more clearly and guide visitors through the project more effectively.
Before this step, much of the information had already been defined, but it did not yet feel like one connected presentation. Entry points, information areas and page sections were therefore reordered. The aim was to make it easier to understand what Global Fleet & Trade is about and what kind of game world is being created.
The new structure places greater emphasis on clarity. Visitors should be able to recognise that this is a maritime economic simulation in which ports, ships, trade, routes, counting houses and long-term development play central roles.
The atmosphere has also been brought more strongly to the foreground. The website should not merely provide technical information, but convey a sense of the period between 1880 and 1920. Historic ports, dark maritime design and clearly organised content areas form the new foundation.
This rebuild was an important step because the public website will later serve as the showcase for the entire project. It should present development updates, explain new functions and make the growing world of Global Fleet & Trade easy to follow.
With its new structure, the project website is better prepared for future content such as detailed news, milestones, explanations of gameplay systems and later presentations of individual game areas.
