GLOBAL FLEET & TRADE · HANDBOOK
Your First Day
After signing in, you establish your shipping company, learn how your home port works and prepare your first voyage. Following the right order prevents costly mistakes.
At a Glance
- The active port determines which local functions you are managing.
- Check warehouse, market, vessel and destination before buying cargo.
- The persistent world continues while you are signed out.
Understand your company and home port
Your home port is the administrative base of your shipping company. It is not automatically the most profitable market and changing a screen does not move vessels or goods.
Before your first purchase
- Open the office and check that a warehouse exists and has free capacity.
- Open the market and read market stock, purchase price and your local holdings separately.
- Open the fleet and check capacity, cargo profile, condition and the actual location of your vessel.
- Only then open the route planner and select a reachable destination.
Prepare the first voyage
Buy only an amount that fits into your local warehouse and the chosen vessel. Loading transfers goods from that warehouse into the cargo hold. Select destination and arrival action, then confirm the route.
If you are unsure
Before final confirmation you can change amount, vessel or destination. Purchased goods remain in the local warehouse. Use the logbook to verify completed actions.
