Clouds and Weather at Sea

Weather fields move independently across the world. If an active route encounters one, its type may influence the voyage or vessel.

Clouds and Weather at Sea: player functions, connections and safe operation.

At a Glance

  • Clouds continue to drift in the persistent world.
  • Different cloud types have different severity and effects.
  • Encounters can be checked through route, fleet and logbook.

Read weather on the map

Clouds form a separate visual layer over land and sea. Their current position is a momentary state, not a permanent closed zone.

Route encounters

The server checks active routes against the current area of a weather field. Depending on its type, delay or condition damage may be possible. Merely seeing an overlap on screen does not by itself guarantee an effect.

What you can verify

Check route and weather on the world map, then inspect condition in the fleet and events in the logbook.
