A rare special guest occupies the encounter slot for twelve hours. Reloading the page or reopening the tavern does not replace that person during the active cycle.
Special Tavern Encounters: player functions, connections and safe operation.
At a Glance
The current special guest remains active for twelve hours.
Adventurers rotate without an immediate repeat.
Spies are rare and first require Espionage Contacts research.
Twelve-hour cycle
Opening the tavern loads the stored encounter slot. While it remains valid, the same person stays visible. The game can select the next special contact only after the twelve hours have elapsed. A resolved encounter is not replaced early.
Adventurers and special guests
Adventurers make up the normal sequence of special encounters. The game moves through the catalogue without immediately repeating the same person. The encounter window describes their proposal. If acquisition is disabled, that adventure is not yet enabled in the normal player flow.
An acquired adventure occupies the adventure slot
As soon as you buy or acquire an adventure, your personal adventure slot is occupied. You cannot acquire another adventure while it remains active. The slot is released only after successful completion or an explicit cancellation. Changing pages, signing out or the twelve-hour tavern encounter expiring does not release the adventure slot.
When a spy can appear
Spies join the encounter pool only after Espionage Contacts has been researched at 650 reputation. No further spy appears while you employ an active spy. When eligible, the normal spy chance is 5%. After ten adventurer encounters, the next eligible special contact is guaranteed to be a spy.
Recruitment
The signing bonus can be set from £0 to £5,000. A higher offer raises the acceptance chance from a minimum of 5% to a maximum of 95%. One offer per spy and Berlin day is allowed, and the bonus is charged only after acceptance.
